I think we will. Lawyers suck.

I've just seen a picture of a flyer apparently being sent out by christian anti-vaxxers in the 'States.
Basically if you add the numbers of all the letters of "corona" together by their place in the alphabet, (c=3, for instance), the numbers add up to 66.
I haven't checked to verify this.
Add to it that "corona" has 6 letters, and you get 666.
So obviously the vaccine is the work of Satan and yoy'll lose your soul. But it's okay for god to kill millions with his virus.
It amazes me that they can put together the thought processes to put together this nonsense but many still can't work out that the world is older than 6000 years...
To be fair, these Christian numberologists aren't always wrong. The concluded that since each word in 'Ronald Wilson Reagan' contained six letters, it spells out to 666, so the 40th US president was the Beast of Revelation.
OK, maybe they were
technically wrong, but their hearts were in the right place.

Fair point. Recto-cranial inversion has long been the curse of prophets.

2020 - the year that keeps on sucking.
Finally got my husband away from his dumbass doctors and in to see my cardiologist...they are working to get him in for heart surgery tomorrow or Monday. They suspect a clot or perhaps the need for a stent.
Merry Fucking Christmas. HOfuckingHO.

Ho-ho-holy fucking shit! Dumbass doctors indeed. Good luck with the procedures, whatever they turn out to be.

Went out for the first time in public today because I had to visit the bank to get a new pin for my debit card.
It's good to see that the bank was taking the six foot rule and mask policy seriously. Unfortunately, not having been out in public since the entire thing has begun, I wasn't properly observing the six foot rule and had to be informed to back up.
Of course, I then had to explain my boyfriend was there because I am hard-of-hearing and it is difficult for me to sometimes understand what people are saying when I cannot read their lips. Yes, lip reading is something upon which I depend, and my co-workers are certainly mad that I have to keep having them repeat what they're saying.
Anywho, I shan't be repeating the event anytime soon. It annoyed me. I prefer simply going back and forth between work and home. The boyfriend does all the public stuff, he's the extrovert.

I didn't know that about you. I've been having some issues with my ears lately, though my hearing is largely intact. But I had a scare recently where I basically lost my hearing in my right ear temporarily, and it has made me more sensitive to such issues. Hearing is so important. My friend at the Plasma Donation clinic told me a story about his uncle who said that he would rather lose his sight than his hearing, because without sight, people can still describe things to him and he can still converse; without hearing he can't.
