I find it bizarre that, as a kid, I was taught to fear witches and not the people who set witches on fire.

People have always had a gross misunderstanding of witches, or anything they deem unacceptable.
The Puritans fled Europe so thet could have the religious freedom to burn witches as God commands.......

Why God promises extremely long/or even endless torture and yet he doesn't show himself to prevent such fate. This gives Dark Souls vibes. No wonder people love idea of YOLO.
