I bought Ziggy a new dog bed that was delivered early this week. His were (he had two) pretty old and getting worn out. The cat moved into it almost immediately and has barely left it even to eat. I don't know if I will ever find if Zig likes it. Blue sure likes it though. sigh

I remember getting into an argument over vaccines and this moron argued that people who are exposed to Covid but don't get infected don't need to get the Vaccine. This is dumb because.
1.Symptoms don't always manifest so unless you get tested you won't know if you are infected or not. 2.Exposure doesn't always mean infection 3.People like that are rare 4. Even if you are resistant you can still spread it 5. Natural resistance is no guarantee you won't get infected

I recently watched a video by a so-called "historian " who makes the bogus claim Hitler was a socialist because the economy of Nazi Germany was heavily regulated and thus businesses were not private. This is of course bullshit as no matter how regulated as long as the government doesn't legally own the business it's private. Wage controls and Price controls have existed in Mixed and Capitalists countries they did not become Socialists because of it. People who try and push this revisionist bullshit piss me off so much.

Idea for a pedal mod: make the MXR Phase 90 even simpler to use by replacing the speed knob with two resistors, one to set the LFO at 0.8 Hz and the other to set it at 6.6 Hz (equivalent to the 48 RPM "chorale" speed and the 396 RPM "tremolo" speed on a Leslie speaker) and a switch to switch between the two. Maybe have an LED light that changes colour depending on which speed you're at.
Drawback: I have no fucking idea of how to do it. Not only do I have zero practical experience modding effects pedals, but I can't even find a formula to figure out how big the resistors would have to be in either case.

 ...and I don't know why I just assumed this and didn't double check... You know the upper right hand row of profile options? There's User CP, Alerts, and Private Messages. The icon next to alerts is kinda yellow but sometimes I view it as yellow-peach. And the shadow that bisects it made it look like two little emoji hands pressed together. I thought it was just a random "prayer" emoji next to Alerts. It's a bell. You know...like what you might ring....as an alert.  I guess I just turn my brain off when I log into AF.
