Random Thoughts
RE: Random Thoughts
Becoming an atheist was the most liberating experience of my life. I no longer had to feel guilty for natural human nature and be chained down by a bunch of rules just to make some deity happy. I'm free to live my life the way I choose and it's a great thing.

Just wanted to share this.

I'm truly glad to learn that T.J.

from your pot, it seems like you may still have some baggage. (me too) Just keep questioning everything. Most especially those things about which you are certain. My reason for suggesting this is that in my experience there are few 100% certainties in life.

Yeah, you don't get out of a lifetime of indoctrination without some baggage. It helps me to talk about it though.

Shift ended with a code brown. If the resident hadn't been so obese, I could have brought her to the shower room for a cleanse. As it was, it took half an hour for a partial bed bath.

It's kinda sad that Steve Bannon died in a tragic car accident next week before he could give evidence

It occurs to me that Wikipedia have re-created the Library at Alexandria by enlisting an army of nerds to correct each other.

Whatever.

In my opinion, Wikipedia is far better than any hard copy encyclopedia ever was. (I'm familiar with three; Britannica, World Book and Newnes)

From time to time I come across a topic which I studied at university. Wikipedia is usually pretty good as a starting point.  Good wiki articles tend to have a lot of references to follow if one really wants to know about a topic..

I think people often misunderstand the purpose of encyclopedia; they're meant as a reference, not as an authority.  Knowledge changes far too quickly.

Trivia; It's my understanding the the Scientologists kept changing unflattering Wiki entries. The people at wiki eventually put a stop to that. The present article seems factual, if unflattering

It's that time of the year when we go from running the air conditioning to running the heat to having the HVAC system turned off and windows open...sometimes all in the same day.
