We are about 30 miles from downtown Dallas in a fairly rural area. There really aren't any industries close by that are putting off fumes, so it's pretty decent here unless the wind kicks up and brings in lots of dust and pollen. Actually there always seems to be dust...I've learned to live with it. Keeping a houseful of critters cooped up in a sealed house for months sure makes it nice when you can open the windows and get a cross draft.
