Men and women both like being ignored, as it gives them a reason (excuse?) to try and win your attention, which is where people really shine. People can (and should) be treated as pet animals, as they already kind of act like them, and could be made into more perfect pets through modification of the brain.

I feel like nothing has really happened in the last 11 years of my life, like lots of novel things happened until i was about 20 years old, and since then nothing noteworthy has happened, only bad stupid things have happened, like I became an alcoholic for a little while, I got abused by my sociopath boss at one of my jobs, I couldn't have fun at Warped Tour becaue I felt like shit, just a bunch of really lame stuff, and this sucks because I feel like I've missed out on a lot of character development that could've or would've happened had my life played out differently, who can relate?
