However. I do have to say that a couple of the responses I got to this post creeped me out a bit. Yes, I know this is the internet and perhaps some of you do have reasons to be paranoid -- I don't know. But if I was some kind of malignant sock-puppeteer, why would I openly state that I once had a different account on this forum? I could just have shut up about it. But to assuage any possible fears you may have, I can tell you that I don't have any bad intentions. I'm just here to read and maybe discuss as politely as is possible under the circumstances.

My response was to the fact of admittance of your sockdom. "Malevolent?" Only time will tell, but to bring that word into the conversation may be a harbinger, as well as accusations of paranoia on my part. I'm not worried, we have some real demon slayers if you turn out to be such. I'll put you on ignore, since your response was already combative. NB- admitting to being a sock is just stupid, tbh. This generally doesn't end well. Just saying.

I think he's referring to socks as demons, and admins as demon-slayers.
