How does your WV inform your politics?

If you agree that the behaviour of Muslims is influenced by Islamic teaching, then do you not also agree that having a belief in Islamic dogma X will make according behviour more likely?

Which is what leads me to believe that you're a dit dense. It does not accurately reflect my views, indeed most of what you've replied as my views came out of your mouth during your incessant attempts to shift the burden of proof.

I don't consider your latter question relevant. As such, it's not worth responding. What part of "moving the goalposts" did you not understand?

I make no claim to being either intelligent or educated.

Fair enough, I guess I simply don't understand your view point or your posts.

Re-reading through the exchanges I had on here with a couple of posters, I genuinely can't see where I've given evidence that I'm dense, under 18, deliberately misrepresented people, made fallacious arguments, acted hypocritically, or the other things people said about me. Or even where I provoked the incivility I received.

I sincerely am confused by what it is I did that provoked people so much that they started making things personal, refusing to respond to questions, and became emotional.

I guess I have some communication blindspots here. I will try and do better.

I'm 47 years old.  This demonstrates lack of careful reading on your part, which combined with your persistent and unapologetic incivility just gives me more reason to ignore you.  I chat on fora for fun and personal benefit.  If you cannot provide me with either, then I see no reason to engage with you.  Why would I?

You seem to think I care for your good opinion. I don't.

As for your age, I'm just going by what you've written.

At any rate, you've pegged my apathy meter.

You think my posting style is like an under 18 year old? Fair enough.

It's a shame you don't care about maintaining basic levels of respect and cordiality with other posters, but that's entirely your perogative.

Should I assume we are going to block each other now?

This is your level of reading comprehension: I never wrote anything about putting you on ignore. You were the only one to mention that, of us.

Don't waste your time on my behalf.

I think a high level of angst is easily associated with youth and immaturity. That may be a contributing factor.

Have I demonstrated a high level of angst in my posts?

https://www.grammarly.com/blog/slippery-slope-fallacy/

The slippery slope fallacy is a logical fallacy that claims one event or action will lead to another, more extreme event or action. This could be by directly causing that follow-up event, setting a precedent for it, or simply creating an environment where that follow-up event can occur. Other names for the slippery slope fallacy include the dam burst fallacy, domino fallacy, and thin end of a wedge.

Short story short, when you assume things, you make an ASS of U and ME.
