I don't believe anything in the Lord of the Rings is real, but I enjoy talking to people about, for example, what sort of being Tom Bombadil might be (Valar, Maiar, elf,anthropomorphized principle of nature, etc) within the context of the playground, you see?
Other people, however, have decertified themselves from this sort of exchange and only get quotes and memes thrown at 'em.

Why would you need to refute the Bible in the first place?
Because wetbrains use the Bible to deny other people rights. The makes it important to show (or attempt to show) that the contents of a particular mythology are not a sound basis for legislation.
