Semitic is not a language. It is a language family. The Bible was written in Hebrew, Aramaic, and Koine Greek, the last of which is not one of the Semitic languages.

I know it's a language family, I'm aware that they speak Hebrew and what languages the Bible was written in. The point was that both Arabs and Jews are Semitic and enemies so which is anti-Semitic? It's nonsense. The Jews, admittedly, play the victim card. I'm not "anti-Semitic" for criticizing the Jews any more than I am anti-Germanic for criticizing the Brits or Americans. It's a lame ass accusation supposed to scare me into conforming.

Not really, though, is it. I had already talked at length about Hebrew, and the point is the Arabs and Jews were Semitic speakers. I didn't think it necessary or even within the interest of the audience to go into detail about the Semitic languages as a branch of the Afroasiatic language family. I also didn't think it necessary or relevant to get into all of the other ones, did you find those in your little trip down Google lane? I shouldn't make fun. Good on you for bothering. In a few days I hope to start posting real stuff on the Christian forum which will look more closely at such details (if I'm not too bored or burnt out to do that, or banned) and I'm sure you will find new and fascinating things to complain about there too!

I'm not stupid, contrary to popular opinion here . . . well, I am, but I think everyone is so it's redundant . . . but, I never said nor thought the Holocaust never happened, it just didn't happen the way the Russian propaganda and Holyweird present it as having happened.

Also, how the fuck do you annex the Jews when, at this point, they’re not even their own country? The only way this could possibly make sense is if you meant he wanted to annex (say) Poland because they had Jews.

Also, after taking courses in German History (particularly starting from 1914), the idea of Germany not building back their infrastructure until the 1980s seems positively unreal. West Germany rebuilt their country pretty damn quickly. It was quick enough that two years after West Germany got the right to govern their country back, the international community was calling what was going on there a miracle. By 1957, it was actually doing better than the UK.

While there’s a lot to dispute in Data’s post, this specific statement I can actually give some qualified agreement to.

Notably, it seems like quality takes a nosedive when he has to put human beings in there. As for his still lives, for what it’s worth, when I took a history of Weimar Germany class, the teacher actually compared those to Thomas Kincaid. Pretty, commercially successful perhaps (at least Kincaid’s were, but I guess if he could find an enterprising printer to reproduce them, maybe add more detail, he’d probably get by), but not much behind the façade. 



And I’d be shocked if either one was ever on the walls of anything like the Art Institute of Chicago.

While there’s a lot to dispute in Data’s post, this specific statement I can actually give some qualified agreement to. 

Really? You can give some qualified agreement to his claim that Hitler was a good guy but was created to be a monster only by false propaganda? Because this is what I was referring to, I don't give a shit about his paintings.

The phrase he used was "Hitler wasn't a bad artist, not great but not bad." That was the specific point I was giving qualified agreement to, and this is why my commentary on said agreement focused entirely on his skill as an artist. That said, looking into it, I wonder if that little part wasn't written as a sort of non sequitur.
