There's only one literal interpretation of the Bible.  You just read it off the page.  But there's as many non-literal interpretations of the Bible as there are would-be defenders.

We know it's the word of god but this is what god really meant? Hehe

The people's sins were ritually laid upon the scapegoat and the poor animal was cut loose.  In this case, the sins are entirely your own.

How many forums have you been booted off, atheist or Christian ?

Too bad for you, it's not even a bone.
In the Bible, a scapegoat is one of a pair of kid goats that is released into the wilderness, taking with it all sins and impurities, while the other is sacrificed. The concept first appears in the Book of Leviticus, in which a goat is designated to be cast into the desert to carry away the sins of the community."

So what ?
They're still sacrificing the other one, (of course ... the priests have to take their cut).

RE: Science of Atheism
The Judean priests who assembled / wrote / made up the Bible, wrote in the law about "molten" images, (usually gold).
In the story in Exodus where Moses comes down from the mountain and finds the people worshipping the "golden calf) it's molten.
Too much like "idol worship". When the Northern tribes seceded, they set up a worship site and instead of the gold plated sphynxes on the (supposed) site in Jerusalem
In the South, the presence of Yahweh in the temple was thought to "sit" on the two (gold-plated sphynxes ... the concept for which came from Babylon. They were not "angels".
The priests in the North put in place two golden bulls. The Judean priests (in writing Exodus that way) were slamming their rival priests in the North who had set up a molten image.
A great deal of the OT is not religions, but simply political. Priests slamming rival priest groups. The story above is a tiny part of a long story.
Some day I'll edit it, and post it.

The centers of his (Jeroboam's new sect in the North were at Dan up in the far North, and Beth-el, which is not far from Jerusalem. He creates new holidays, appoints new priests, and creates new symbols.
Jeroboam's new national holiday was also in the Fall, but a month later than Judah's holiday.

In my mind the worst thing you could possibly do to me is ignore me. Not push a button and make me disappear, that's lovely, I mean to literally and manually ignore me. How boring would that be? I wouldn't last long with that.
That's exactly what happened.  You were already being ignored by the ones you wanted to troll, so you said fuck it and revealed the hand in your sock.

We no longer call the Higgs boson the "God Particle" because now there's evidence that it exists.
