The most responsible people are the ones who can maintain a relationship with the same person (one person) for many years, without cheating on the other person, of course. It's a much healthier relationship style than dating or marrying multiple people.

Cheating is a sign of irresponsibility, but that is different to ethical non-monogamy.

Yes, really. Cheating involves deliberate deception and dishonesty. In a consensual polyamorous arrangement, there's none of that.
