I am not privy to knowledge of your personal life, except that which you have shared here like your desire for food and sex, but I am fairly certain your basic needs are met by a secular reality. You seek god because you have not yet self actualized. And with god taking up space in your mind, you will not find it.

Self-actualization has nothing to do with whether one believes in God or not. To be honest, the idea of self-actualization is considered to be a bit of a BS concept anyway, which is kind of ironic.

Yeah, it's a little too convenient that the people who talk about "self actualization" are all wealthy. Having an obscene amount of money isn't "self actualization", it's just being filthy rich for no good reason, and no more than that.

2539 Envy is a capital sin. It refers to the sadness at the sight of another's goods and the immoderate desire to acquire them for oneself, even unjustly.

Envy isn't the best thing. But it is better than being a greedy hypocrite.

Everyone in the forum take note: Ahriman says hypocrisy is bad.

I do not understand why @Ahriman gets so much bandwidth from people here. They do nothing but vomit nonsense yet are rewarded with responses far in excess of the worth of their vomit.

Trolling 101, I guess.

Some people must think I'm worth responding to. Which I think I am too.
