Ah, so right-thinking people think like you and you only.  All the doctors, psychologists, psychiatrists, sexologists, counsellors, therapists, lgbtq+ advocates, and so on I've spoken to over the years on this issue aren't right minded like you.  OK.  Well, we will have to agree to disagree.  I will continue with my sexuality, I will continue to advocate for OS folk, and I expect that in time OS will just be another part of the lgbtq+ umbrella that only bigots will care about.
Yes all those supposed doctors, psychologists, psychiatrists, sexologists, counselors, therapists, lgbtq+ advocates, you have spoken to and agree with you  .....
.You are free to do as you like and I'll simply point out its flaws when you write it here. And you are free to dream that it will be normalized.

Cool. Agreement to disagree is the best we can hope for here, since there's no conversion therapy for OS people on offer in the UK. At some point your POV and language will be seen by the majority as queerphobic, until then I guess you have freedom to express your distaste of this non-harmful, non-illegal sexual minority however you wish.

Well, yes, you recommend therapy to change someone's sexuality when it causes no harm to others, yes? You would 'encourage' them to seek a treatment to change their sexual orientation and expression/sensation of love, yes?

Considering it's not a sexuality then no I'm not. So your false comparison fails again  Dodgy

It meets the criteria of being classed as a sexuality (according to sexologist Marsh's paper on OS). And OS people use the term sexuality for themselves, as do their supporters.

Given the track record of how homosexuality and transgender folk were previously classified, and how they are classified now, I am hopeful about how OS will be talked about in the near future.

No, it doesn't, and what OS people call it doesn't mean much  Dodgy
