one of the nazca lines created in peru is above a mountain which appears to be cut in half. like i said you have to watch the video to know exactly what i'm talking about and until you do i dont really see why your continuing to post. come back when you have time from your oh so busy schedule...

Im going to say something that seems off subject be still is kinda on it. Most of us know god isn't real, and most of us believe aliens that are more intelligent than us aren't also. Well that would mean ancient man could possibly have been allot smarter then we give credit to, in some cases allot smarter then modern man.

perhaps everyone is wrong, and we just dumbed down over a global amnesia and are finaly recouperating.

I'll watch the video when I get back from my trip this weekend.

Till then, perhaps you should ask our resident geologist what he thinks about that "cut mountain". Orogenicman.

interesting point, there are a whole bunch of civilisations which had knowledge of the cosmos way before we did. many of them had medicines etc which worked well before we discovered cures to diseases etc.

What video is Napoleon talking about?? ... I don't see a link for a video anywhere in this thread. Am I missing something?

I thought he was just getting all his info from the History Channel's Ancient Aliens.
What video Nap?

Oh crap, it's from the Pseudo-History Channel? [sigh]

Definitely going to wait until I get back.

There's an episode of Nat Geo's Is It Real that talks about the same thing, with much of the same players. The archeologist they feature on there, Kenny Feder, has some incredibly insightful explanations on and off that show that are worth listening to.

so does the history channel have a habit of showing uncredible programs? i was under the impression the people giving insight on that had alot more knowledge on the subject than any of us?

either way, if you ignore the whole premise of the show and just look at the nazca lines and the mountain i mentioned there are definitely questions we should be asking. i think it isn't unreasonable to be asking how the hell a damned mountain can be cut in half.

and i will definitely check out that episode if i can find it.

I WILL GET TO THE BOTTOM OF THIS MYSTERY!!!! either that or im converting to christianity and saying that god did it Wink

I used to enjoy the History Channel, years back. Truly, I did.

However, the recent spate of "Monsterquest" and things about Nostradamus and 2012 and the like made its credibility plummet.

History Channel does itself a disservice playing those programs, and I'd prefer that it stick to it's other facet - being "The Hitler Network". At least that has a basis in fact.

Also, if you're including the Nazca lines in this "mystery", Joe Nickell has done enough explaining about how the lines got there. Look him up.

I have a gripe with you now Nap. First of all, your link doesn't go to an actual video. It goes to a goddamn website where we have to search for whatever the hell you're talking about. NO ONE wants to do that. We're not researching YOUR POINT, that's your job! If you're going to reference a video and than KEEP referencing it throughout the next few pages of your thread, maybe the link should actually go to what you're referring to. Which leads me to my next point. The mountain cut in half .... the video that references the Nasca lines in the shitty link you provided doesn't even MENTION the "mountain cut in half" as you did SEVERAL times. Get your shit together before you present an argument and than whine about people not knowing what the HELL it is you're even talking about because we can't see something you once saw on TV show once upon a time! Thumb Down

seriously - if you can't handle hangin with the adults - leave.
