Cars have to be autonomous or it will be the end of mankind.
We have to go to Mars or it will be the end of mankind.
Make more babies or it will be the end of mankind.
Vote for Trump or it will be the end of mankind.
Who does this sound like?
teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"

Like another blowhard.
It's a shame no one has introduced Musk to a ball-peen hammer.

Kinda difficult since there was no glory to begin with...damn, those things are ugly. Five year olds can draw a nicer looking car.
Hence the quotation marks.

Elon Musk is a fucking idiot. His understanding of economics is as deep as his knowledge of AI, rocketry, and electric cars, which is near zero. He knows a few buzzwords.
It is astonishing how long people have let this mucus-brained dipshit yank them around.

If Musk is such a genius, why do his electric cars still have hydraulic brakes?

Or why have his cars been recalled so many times?

Trump and Musk are both specimens of the same phenomena, people attributing skill to successful people on account of a belief in meritocratic ideologies. People have for a long time tried to determine what traits lead to success, largely in vain, as there don't appear to be identifiable traits which can predict success. All the same, people believe that where there's smoke, there's fire, when it comes to success. Sometimes there's just smoke.
