I remember when university frowned upon Google searches, but the rule no longer applies. I also remember when wiki could not be counted as a source for a paper, but now it can. Rules in academia should change.

Depends on the depth of the lobotomy and they definitely don't experience pain the same as prior to the procedure. With that part of the brain functions destroyed it's approaching functioning on the same level as fish.
