Do fish feel pain?

RE: Do fish feel pain?
Is there a reason why the self-proclaimed computer guy can't do an Internet search for answers to his inane questions?

Oh yeah, they didn't teach him at university how to Google.

I remember when university frowned upon Google searches, but the rule no longer applies. I also remember when wiki could not be counted as a source for a paper, but now it can. Rules in academia should change.

If you think fish are luckier you might want to find someone who will perform a lobotomy.

Lobotomized people, unfortunately, feel pain and other types of suffering.

Depends on the depth of the lobotomy and they definitely don't experience pain the same as prior to the procedure. With that part of the brain functions destroyed it's approaching functioning on the same level as fish.

I can perform a lobotomy, if that helps?

I'll have to look up the procedure, but I have most of the tools.

A 3/8 inch electric drill and a set of these?

I have all that kit, let me know who needs it, we'll make arrangements.

A twist I put on a nursery rhyme as a kid , maybe 11 or so?

It's raining, it's pouring,
a power-drill is boring
through my head --
won't stop 'til I'm dead.
Guess I won't wake up in the morning.

Yes, I was a little off-kilter.
