RE: Random movie news
'A Complete Unknown' - the movie about Bob Dylan is supposed to air on Hulu starting in about a week. I think I am going to watch it when it comes around. I wasn't willing to spend 25 bucks to rent it on Prime but since we already have Hulu, I may give it a shot.

Disney & Hulu subs are on sale, four months at $3 or $4 a month through the end of the month. My favorite Korean actress has a new Korean drama that starts tonight, and what I read is that they're airing two episodes a week for a total of 8 episodes. Regardless, I'll wait until just before the offer expires and subscribe so I can watch it.

Cliffhanger reboot is on the way

Quote:Stallone will no longer star in the update meant to be directed by Ric Roman Waugh (“Greenland”) from a script by Mark Bianculli (“Hunters”). A creative overhaul has meant that actor Lily James (“The Iron Claw, “Pam & Tommy”) will take on the lead role. Pierce Brosnan will co-star and Jaume Collet-Serra (“Carry-On,” “Non-Stop”) will direct.

Filming is underway in Austria with a buzzy supporting cast, including: Nell Tiger Free (“Servant,” “The First Omen”), festival darling Franz Rogowski (“Passages”), Shubham Saraf (“Shantaram”), Assaad Bouab (“Franklin”), Suzy Bemba (“Poor Things”) and Bruno Gouery, a breakout star of the Netflix hit “Emily in Paris.”

Insiders familiar with the project described it as a father-daughter take on “Die Hard.”

Brosnan will play seasoned mountaineer Ray Cooper, who operates a luxury chalet in the Dolomites with daughter Sydney. During a weekend trip with a billionaire’s son, they are targeted by a gang of kidnappers. Ray’s daughter Naomi (James), still haunted by a past climbing accident, witnesses the attack and escapes. To save her family, she must confront her fears and fight for survival.

teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"

I'm sure she's a fine person, but I think it's more accurate to say, 'Sydney Sweeney will be given a producer credit on the film.'
