RE: Random movie news
(November 7, 2024 at 2:26 pm)Fake Messiah Wrote: New Star Wars sequel trilogy is coming, episodes 10-12 of The Skywalker Saga.

Lucasfilm has closed a deal with Simon Kinberg to develop a trilogy of Star Wars films. Kinberg will write the trio, and produce them with Lucasfilm chief Kathleen Kennedy.

How in the ever-loving fuck can you continue the saga of a family that has no surviving members?!?

Star Wars (read 'Disney'), if it hadn't already, is now truly jumping the shark!

There’s always a long-lost cousin somewhere. Or a clone. Or a humanoid robot fitted out with the consciousness of some Skywalker or other.

When there’s merchandising money on the line, nothing’s impossible.

Well, Luke seemed to be very intimate with those beings on that island so who knows what progeny came from that.

But it's probably going to be a new saga. That reporter said it could be a continuation but he notes that some other sources say it will be a new one - you know, where some other characters destroy some other giant sphere in the end.
teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"

Denzel Washington reveals a gay kiss was cut from ‘GLADIATOR 2’

“I kissed a man in the film but they took it out, they cut it, I think they got chicken… I kissed a guy full on the lips and I guess they weren’t ready for that yet.”

I would rather watch that movie instead of Gladiator.

Sharks need to have water constantly flowing through their gills or they suffocate. This is usually accomplished by always being moving. You'd need some good-sized tanks for that.

Not all sharks, For the species that do, some sort of circulating pump would suffice (the Romans made use of bilge pumps, which could be adapted for this purpose).

Nicholas Galitzine has been cast as He-Man in the upcoming film. It's not due for release until mid-2026, so let's hope junior uses the time to bulk up.

And Jared Leto as Skeletor, so that means no McDonald's for him for some time.

So, are you ready for Matt Damon to take you on a four hours trip in Christopher Nolan's The Odyssey?

JFC, hasn't this been done to death already?
