The area in which I live does not have an official fireworks show, but we could hear the locals celebrating.

It was quite a racket around my house last night, but fortunately my doggo is chill with loud bangs and fireworks. Our last house was near a railyard and a steel yard and a gravel pit; and our new one is close enough to an Army test range to hear explosions in the distance sometimes. I reckon Finnigan is just used to that kind of thing.

Our girl has gone deaf, noise is not a problem anymore. But we need to keep the shades closed, she still goes into protection mode when she sees them.
