Happened a few time but only online. Those who posts abhorrent crap have tendency to assume others are butthurt and not simply stunned by depths of their stupidity.

If people don't think they've been butt hurt as a child or told to stop acting butt hurt then I think that they have a poor or selective memory.

Folks protest much more at being called "butthurt" than they do at being called "genius" in most cases. Maybe the best bet is to stop worrying about what someone thinks about you.

In my case, it's less about the fact that I care and more about the fact that I don't know how to respond. So far I've just been like "No I'm not" but they keep insisting so it gets repetitive.
