I look forward to the day, not likely in my lifetime, when there is no need to celebrate Veterans Day because there is no need for the soldier beyond boot camp training.

Happy Veterans Day!
My two natural grandfathers and a step-grandfather all fought in WW II. (I came within a split-second of never existing.) My mom's Dad & her step-dad were both on the beaches of Normandy together during D-Day; they never met but ended-up being married to the same woman.  
Our version (ANZAC Day) doesn’t roll ‘round til April, but in the meantime tip o’ the hat to the warfighters, past and present.
