Happy Mother's Day.

For those who are in areas where today is Mother's Day, hope you have a nice one...if you aren't a mom, hope your SO, wife, mother, etc. have a nice day.
I have had a good day thus far. Saw two of my three kids. Got a text from future daughter-in-law and also one from oldest granddaughter.
Taken out for breakfast, talked to a couple women in the family who I didn't give birth to.

Called my 90yo step a few minutes ago. Her mind is going.
Sad to say but most would consider the conversation a great comedy routine.

I think the phrase ‘Happy Mothers Day’ is exclusionary - why should only happy mothers get a day? It seems like depressed, sad, or angry mothers could do with a bit of recognition.
