Greetings, my fellow Hebrews and Shebrews.

Hello, all.

I love that line from Family Guy, so I had to use it. Makes me laugh every time.

So, my name is Chris. 21 years old and not a follower of any sort of religion or faith. Unlike a lot of non-believers that I know, I wasn't raised in a strong Christian household, so I don't have that innate hatred towards all things Pope-y like they do. That being said, I do hate the exploitation of people's fears of death and what happens after death in order to gain donations. I'm a firm believer that the church is just a large scam.

I'm certainly no expert in religion. I'm here to learn more and grow my knowledge of both faith and the absence of faith. Considering I'm still young, I still don't know who I am or what I believe and I can only hope to learn these things as I continue on.

Welcome. I guess I do have some of that animosity toward the Catholic church due to being raised in it. But, if anything, it does give me an insight to how Christians think, plus I do know the bible somewhat well so it's easy to debate them.
Christian apologetics is the art of rolling a dog turd in sugar and selling it as a donut.

Thanks for the warm welcomes, ladies and gents. Don't let my polite introduction fool you. I typically can be quite the asshole. Then again, it's usually people with IQs around their shoe-size who makes that part of me come out, so perhaps I'll never get angry and post on here.

Also, I'm glad somebody liked my avatar. Mr. Hicks was quite the human being, I must say. Inspiration for many and hero for humanity, also unfortunately virtually anonymous during his travels.
