Well,who watched the Royal wedding?

Well,who watched the Royal wedding?
Did I? No.

As it was on almost every channel,I turned off the TV and listened to a couple hours of a new audio book "The Pillars Of The Earth"

This morning their happy visages are on the cover of EVERY paper. Fair dinkum,it's enough to put a bloke off his porridge.

I really don't care how much the Brits spent. The profits must be huge, just from tourists. Then there are the TV rights. BUT did Australia REALLY need to send a ceremonial guard, paid for by Aussie taxpayers? I think not.Fucking sychophants.Cranky

If you're not supposed to ride faster than your guardian angel can fly then mine had better get a bloody SR-71.

RE: Well, who watched the Royal wedding?
Was watching the news (which I mainly do for the weather reports) and cooking dinner, then the broadcast went to the wedding. Caught random bits of it mainly focusing on what every one was wearing....YUK!!!! The only person who looked the part was the "Maid / Matron of Honour" who apparently was the Brides sister. Nice outfit...the rest looked like they were attending a Melbourne Cup and had gotten sucked up by a cyclone and dumped in Britain. Oh and the Mother of the Bride looked good...didn't know who she was but she looked nice. Had a better time conversing with an 'old friend' of the Badger's

The coverage was the ususal effusive guff even with the sound on very low - Average. Dodgy

I'm anti royal... but we took the kids up to the castle to watch it on a big screen (the community had organized a party in the park), then later went on to a village street party. Good time. I thought the sister looked the best. The bride looked tarty somehow in her makeup.

I don't have any interest in the royals but boy, what a day. Flags going up, parties taking place, tourists coming over in the many thousands. Had loads of Americans over here visiting castles. Great fun. 2 Billion people watching, amazing.
Personally I don't actually have a problem with the royals. I used too, but I've turned from anti-royal to meh!

Mankind's intelligence walks hand in hand with it's stupidity.

Being an atheist says nothing about your overall intelligence, it just means you don't believe in god. Atheists can be as bright as any scientist and as stupid as any creationist.

You never really know just how stupid someone is, until you've argued with them.
