Yep, them damn minority atheists telling everyone else what to do.
Sorry, but being in a majority in this country doesn't mean you get to tell the minority to sit down and STFU. Oh wait, it's Fox News, voice of the conservative right wing. They don't understand this concept.
What's infuriating is the idea that "one person could ruin this for everyone else" and "they've done this for 70 years so what's the harm in continuing tradition?" And of course Fox News is going to leave out any mention of the First Amendment, because that would show that this one student is right and the school is wrong for having openly religious symbols. But no, they are spinning this as a "the majority Christians have to bow to the wishes of one atheist student" issue.
I don't know how they can sleep at night while claiming to be "fair & balanced."

I really really hope that was Fox News playing "God Bless Texas" by Little Texas while describing a conservative Christian city in Louisiana going ape shit over a student not wanting to to pray in a public school.
I do not believe in the creed professed by the Jewish Church, by the Roman Church, by the Greek Church, by the Turkish Church, by the Protestant Church, nor by any Church that I know of. My own mind is my own Church. - Thomas Paine, The Age of Reason

Where is the typical Christian outcry of "freewill" in this situation?
Seems that they only endorse "freewill" when one of their theogonies are obviously broken.. not when it comes to, you know, actual utilitarian and social examples.
I guess in this situation, the atheists "freewill" was only two options: Pray like the rest of us, or shut the fuck up and act like you are praying out of respect for us.

The thing that irks me is that they all go nuts if you complain about their Christian prayers , but if it were a Muslim Imam giving a Muslim prayer at a graduation ceremony, they'd be out protesting like crazy and decrying how Sharia law is taking over the country.

Listen, it's okay to have a bias when you report, as long as viewers are let known that you have this bias. When you advertise as fair and balanced you fail to do that.
