In the worst case, I think it would be better - as tackattack suggested on the previous page - replacing:

with something like this bar:


only that... the bar should be... as long as the normal bar/line [ h r ] is.
the bar above should be better than the normal bar/line because it's more visible - it is impossible not to observe such things in a post.

As about my former suggestion, though I don't know too much about web design, I guess it's... too hard to implement. So what do you say about the bar above?

That bar is the ugliest thing I have ever seen..there is nothing wrong with the hr on this forum

Some time ago I had seen something like "upload" below the box where I was writing the text to be posted, but not anymore.

Does the upload box appear in other forums (e.g off topic) or is it gone in all of them?

I've fixed the attachment problem, seems this forum was misconfigured.

I suggest you upload your photos to imageshack.us and then just embed them here though; it is far easier and saves us storage and bandwidth.

About the images/suggestion:
I'm not sure about the color to be used. I used in the first image red, and in the other blue. How posts would be separated within the same post is displayed in the second image (i.e. two_borders.png).

Now you should understand better what I meant. I don't know if it is possible and easy to be done and if you find it aesthetic. Anyway, in case you don't, then perhaps something similar to that would look nice and be relatively easy to implement.

there is a bit of problem with the zoom: those borders (red & blue ones) are actually dotted lines, not continuous lines (in the screenshots, due to zoom, that is not clearly visible).

I don't see the point of doing this. It looks ugly, and I doubt many people would find it useful. Generally when a person posts twice, the second post is either a quick continuation of the first (which they forgot to simply edit), or is related to the first in some way. Merging them into one post make sense, and I don't think it causes any problems when reading.

Yeah, looks pretty lame and pointless to me. Why you wouldn't just put those posts in the same one, or one after the other is beyond me. I really see no reason to put some blue dotted line around it.
