The first article was saying that england were actually taking a more humble approach to the world cup, so I don't see how that one fits.

The second is quite obviously biased because we have diego milito commenting on english arrogance, even though he is arrogantly kissing the arse of his own fellow country man?

Despite these two ridiculous news reports I really don't see how england are any more arrogant than the french, the spanish, the brazilians, the argentinians, the italians, the dutch, or the germans.

To be honest, I do not really like football anyway. I only like playing sport.
It just annoys me when the news is all about coverage on the england team and stuff... It is probably just because I dislike football.

We have no more reason to be arrogant than anyone else. You telling me argentina weren't arrogant when they went into the world cup because they had lionel messi? We all saw how much of a flop that was too.

Yes, that is true. But wouldn't you be arrogant if you had Messi on your team?

When looking at it england have a strong team in terms of players, but they can't seem to work as a team very well compared to other nations because of the way football is in Britain. Their egos clash too much...

And footballers are all over payed cheaters... Had to throw that in there.

Partly, yes, but it is mainly because I do not like football very much at all...
I don't watch the scottish news anymore as a result of the Celtic/Rangers bullshit that is always on there.

And I don't regard nationality highly at all. It shouldn't matter where someone is from really. I will occasionally defend Scotland in a conversation but it doesn't really bother me.
