Lol the first time you told your neighbor you were a wiccan he turned to you and tried to choke you, then they picketed your house. That's how you strip them of their individuality, make them know you're not wanted here.

Actually, the guy who choked him several months ago uses the number "666" in a LOT of things - including his housenumber (by his own request), his online presence, and on his license plate. He's believed by many around here to be a Satanist. He says he's an "agnostic", and fails to believe in anything supernatural (atheist in my book). The issue over the choking didn't make much sense to me, but the guy involved was quite drunk.

Other people have asked me about the Wiccan bumper stickers, and seem to have a fairly good idea on what it's about - but we've surprised several when they discovered we were not vegetarian upon having dinner of grilled hamburgers in the fire department.

Exactly! It's really just as simple as proposing the question "Why?" Such as: When "god" was making us, WHY would he even implant the ability to be violent? WHY even create such a thing as war, poverty, murder, rape, etc. ?? WHY sacrifice your son to cleanse a retched people, when you could've just created a perfect people in the first place?

There's a simple answer as to why God made us with the capability to become quite violent, and why He created war, rape, pestilence, murder, etc is that God created us in His image. Or, in truth, humans created God in our image.

God has all of the features of a human being... including His capacity for violence, and approving of taking captive girl children for later raping when they grew up, bashing babies' heads against stone walls, wholesale slaughter of civilians in cities, child abuse, a desire to cut the genitals of infants, a perverse love of foreskins, enjoying the smell of burning flesh, animal abuse, misogyny, and xenophobia. Although said to be omnipotent, He seems to be unable to change his mind nor to forgive without a blood sacrifice of something.

That's why he had to send his son, who was really himself, conceived by a ghost of himself by a virgin, be executed as an enemy of the State (Rome), leaving no record by the Romans who were about as efficient as the IRS at record keeping, be buried in a tomb which was not his own, yet not really die and leave that tomb (did he rent it by the hour?), where he had the ability to walk through walls, not be recognized by people who knew him well at first, not be seen by various guards and others, fly into heaven as seen by multitudes, who evidently forgot all of this, or that they'd followed him, for about 40 years (nearly 2 generations at the time), then they wrote about him at length, and taught all of this "good news" as if it were really important, although nothing is said about him between 33 A.D. until 70 A.D. (Writing of the Gospel of Mark).

There were a ton of "God men" throughout the middle east around that time - from Dionysus to Mithras to Apaplonius of Tyana to Attis to Osiris, the great-granddaddy of them all. Several of these were born of virgins on December 25th, healed the sick, raised the dead, were tragically killed, and resurrected

Welcome aboard. This bothers me though, you said that you had a logical argument for the non-existence of God but then you proceeded only to ask why God did something. How is not understanding why someone does something logically prove they do not exist? I may not understand why my parents did some of the things they did but does this logically prove my parents do not exist? Just curious.

I admit: I was quite wrong for saying "ALL" you need to ask is why. I should have rephrased it. There are many ways to dissprove "god".

There aren't that many ways that actually stand up to scrutiny. Proving a negative is not impossible, but a lot harder then you might think.

I would say that there are no ways to disprove God, and no way to prove him either.
