No way, you are really 62? This whole time I thought you were some 14 year old just trolling around on here trying to get kudos, little did I know you are nearly 10 years older than my dad. I guess that goes to show you can't judge a poster by their posts. Smile

I said I was not making a cosmological argument in another thread, not that it is a bad argument. I agree with what scripture says about natural revelation.

Actually you do make the cosmological argument when you maintain that creation is proof of the existence of god. Are you saying here by the way that the cosmological argument isn't a bad one, or that you didn't say that is was. If the latter, I'll say it for you. The cosmological argument is a bad one. If the former, actually, it doesn't matter which, my response is the same.

What can I say, I'm on you like red ants on a fish head today.
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!

First of all, I didn’t make the argument, scripture does. Secondly, you merely asserting the cosmological argument is a bad one does not make it so. I am sure you are also aware that there are counter-objections made to everyone of the objections made in that Wiki article so around and around we go. I do not base my faith on the cosmological argument, but if done correctly it can be a very powerful and persuading argument, more so than the objections to it. Lastly, I have never seen red ants on any head, much less that of a fishSmile

Washing of the hands, a powerful and persuasive tradition.

On that note, I too, am not making any arguments, reality is.

I was rerferring to a piece of scripture that I believe is right on, if I was making the cosmological argument I would actually sit down and spell the whole argument out for you.

So you're ignorant of what it is you're arguing against? That seems to be the case 95% of the time with atheists. You can't criticize a subject very well if you don't know what it is. Address the subject and perhaps we'll get somewhere. Wink
