I once heard The Hon Duncan John Gay MLC, a conservative politician talking on the radio being both stupid and funny.
Some people would embrace the name DJ Gay, but not our Duncan.
He proceeded to present his case as to why gays were not really gay at all, and they should stop using the term.
Gays aren't happy and bright, they're just icky. Yes Icky is what they are and they should stop using his name, they, they, they just should.

This is worse than even the worst form of child abuse. I mean, at least the kids whose parents really do burn them get reprieve from it when they die or grow up.

I can't get my daughter to stand in the corner for 5 minutes. If I were god, knowing what I know only about little girls and corners, the prospect of punishing someone eternally wouldn't pass the cost-benefit analysis.

That guy is impossible to deal with. I make it a habit not to talk to him at all, if I can avoid it. I think he tried to tell me once that all of the victims of the L.A. riots were white and all of the perpetrators were black. I was so pissed that he couldn't see passed the "blacks started it" mentality to the rest of the story. I wrote post after post of sources and fact based commentary, but I had to give up in the end. Some people just want to believe what they are saying so there is no changing their minds. I just imagine him as a fat old guy with stained sweatpants and a white t-shirt with bits of donut stuck in his beard and it makes me feel better.
