Confirming what we all already knew.

I think Oprah is definitely a viable candidate for the antichrist, because she can turn crappy literature into a bestseller with one little sticker.

I hated the book of the month crowd when I worked at Barnes and Noble, she was already a force in the publishing world decades ago.

He's right. It would be much better to keep the current primitive religions of the world in place. Clearly, we are all benefiting greatly right now from the peace and morality that Christianity and Islam are currently offering. It's so nice to have a god that loves and respects us, feeds the world, protects us from natural disasters, keeps the forces of evil at bay, and of course, holds a place for all our souls in eternity when we die. We should all thank christianity (and Islam for that matter) for making our world such a wonderful place to live in. Toleration and enlightenment are over-rated and we definitely should take precautions to guard against such insidiousness sneaking into our happy little cult of barbarism and superstition.

There's been so many different predictions of who was the antichrist that I'm sure it's a long, long list. I remember way back when Clinton got elected, some right-wing nutjob preachers were claiming that he was the antichrist who was going to head the one-world government. Of course, Obama being a darkie Muslim and all, makes a much better candidate for AC to the right-wing tinfoil hat crowd.

Because it detracts from what God really wants: To get rid of gays, abortion, minorities, and all non-Christians; enslaving the poor; and forcing the world to become a fascist theocratic Christian state.
