RE: Hello!
Yes, again, god is conducting the trial. He is the judge. He already knows what you will do. Why does it matter if you know?
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!

How can an atheist say they've talked with something they don't even believe exists?
Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence - Carl Sagan

Mankind's intelligence walks hand in hand with it's stupidity.

Being an atheist says nothing about your overall intelligence, it just means you don't believe in god. Atheists can be as bright as any scientist and as stupid as any creationist.

You never really know just how stupid someone is, until you've argued with them.

Because he wanted to.

An atheist can say such a thing because they could be bike riding and then hear God talking, and he would know that it is God because the voice immediately says in a booming voice, "I AM GOD."

No speedy advances through thorny issues. God knows the outcome, he allows you a trial, your guilt is already determined in any case.

Ok, I already thought we had this covered. What you said is correct. This is also correct: humans don't know the outcome, God allows us a trial with freewill, and on judgment day we find out if we passed the test or not. No re-dos are allowed.

That part I put in bold there, that is the bible claiming to know the will of god.

TheCarlisle Wrote:What we don't know about God is quite a bit. For example:
Why did God create free will?
Why did God even create us?
If someone answers those, they are just speculating. If someone asked why did God choose Moses to lead the Exodus, then the answer's pretty clear.

But you didn't make the claim that we don't know everything about god. You made the claim that god's will is unknowable. It is unknowable yet somehow you know that he loves us, hates sin, and wants us to go to heaven.

Didn't he tap out with the "this is all hypothetical" bit? I mean, we knew it would come to that, or ...

No, he made the claim is was impossible to know how god thinks in response to so many contradictions in the bible. See post #77.
