I'll try and get back to you on this Rythm but it's a lot to read and chances are it'll come down to my opposition of using animals as commodities.

NP, take your time, like I said, I end up courting consumers like yourself often, and having a sort of sounding board that doesn't effect my income is great.
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!

Sometimes I like to learn everything about a creature. The economics and structures to allow for large scale production yields insights into the weaknesses and strengths of nearly anything, including living things.

You can if you like, I'm only posting here because Rythm specifically referred to me in the OP as I said I had an interest in hydroponics.

My power reserves are dry today, but there are plenty of strong willed posters willing to engage in a head on discussion. Just head to Politics and History and make a thread there. I, myself, don't fall into the vegan category, and hence have little cause to broach the topic.

Here you go Skeptic, this is also something I'm looking into, maybe wiki the concept and tell me if it would be something you would invest your food dollar in. The design heavily favors vegetarianism, and any animals used on the lot are usually free range, and not harvested as food. More like putting a pig in a garden.

Okay, I've had a bit more of a read and the problem I would have with it is as I say, the use of animals of commodities. These won't be animals that are unwanted pets I'm guessing so they will be bred for purpose. Creating lives for personal gain (human or animal) can't be done for the benefit of the creature created.

It does seem a clever idea and I expect many animal welfarists would support it but like I say, I'm an abolitionist.

Is there any place you would suggest to me regarding the abolitionists viewpoint?
