Wow. Ignorance is bad enough. Ignorant Christians are downright dangerous.
Apparently they want to nail us to a cross, stab a spear into our sides and make us suffer like god did.
And they say we are vile? Religion is like a Penis, you shouldn't whip it out in public and you shouldn't shove it down your child's throat.
What's funnier is how they think they're so different from the "vile Islam" they hate.
Who's to say then, that much of Islamic countries aren't like the good abiding Christians who DON'T spew this shit? Let's just put some perspective on this, people. You are hating the dark side of your own mirror. I've seen various pieces of it passed around, but I'm posting the one from the AA blog in case any new members would like to check out the rest of it. Dave Silverman is a good guy. I find the face-book comments which were posted disgusting to say the least.

It still occasionally amazes me that the kindest, friendliest, most honorable people I know are more often than not - the ones covered in tattoos, rockin out to some metal tune and and completely unencumbered by religious nonsense. Not to say that I haven't met a handful of really cool christians - I have, but honestly I've met far more who I wouldn't turn my back to for even a moment. RE: Fox News and Facebook

Even the nicest christian has made a moral judgement of you, and your very thoughts, without ever needing to say a word. All they have to do is wear the right talisman.
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!
I think the Christian mindset behind this kind of thinking is that we atheists have brought this upon ourselves. By rejecting god we deserve their condemnation. Don't forget that in America we are one of the few minorities that it is still socially acceptable to be prejudice against. In fact, I just recently saw something saying we are perceived as the least 'American' minority behind even Muslims.
Even if the open windows of science at first make us shiver after the cozy indoor warmth of traditional humanizing myths, in the end the fresh air brings vigor, and the great spaces have a splendor of their own - Bertrand Russell

Hehehe, yeah my bad leg, terrible nightmares, and mounting medical bills were definitely forged in the fire of my not being very "American". God used to bless me when I wore a uniform and held a gun, but now I'm a worthless heathen.
(for the record, I've been in many a foxhole, the things are positively brimming with atheists) Anyone who wants to stand up on a pulpit and tell me I'm not American can go right ahead, and I'll bring the pistols because I shit you not were gonna walk this one out and settle it. Dislike the opinions of people whom I represent as a slice of Americana, sure, fine, they have that right, but taking it further is at least one step more than I can bear.
