1956 Chevy. I owned one of these. Mine was a blue and white two door with a modified 327cid engine and Muncie 4spd.

Please do. Would love to see it.
Check out this '67 GTO! My friend gives it the ol' thumbs up approval.

Trying something out here to see if I got this right. If it works, this will be my friend giving a thumbs up approval to a '67 Pontiac GTO. Real nice car!
Here's the engine in the GTO. Check it out!
Being a Ford guy, this Falcon is my favorite. I love this car! My friend in the picture agrees.
My project truck. 1980 Ford, F-100. 300cid inline six cylinder with Offenhauser dual port intake, Edelbrock 500 cfm 4bbl. Performer carburetor, dual exhaust with Headman headers, MSD 6a box...

If you want to post a load of images, I'd suggest using imageshack.us to upload them. They offer free image hosting, which we can't for financial reasons. There is also a 1MB limit for uploads on your account, which is probably why some of your images aren't showing.
Just saying, it's easier to upload stuff at imageshack.us than to upload them here.

I like the car show at the annual Royal Adelaide show) in September, which is spring here. They show new cars, such as say A Ferrari, Maserati etc. I remember almost fainting with pleasure the year they had an ISO. Today my rich man's dream car is a Buggati Veyron.
Poor man's dream cars include a Jaguar XJS,a Beemer,a Boxter and a Jensen interceptor. Best car I've actually owned; A Datsun 1600,which I bought new in1972.
1600
Jag
Interceptor
Today A red Toyota Camry; comfy,safe-ish and as boring as dogshit.

I had a buddy that had a 57 Chevy that he restored and featured in local car shows. It was cherry and everything in it was restored to the original configuration. Then he chromed out the engine, so that she shined inside and out. Gorgeous. It took him years and untold dollars to get her just right.
He rarely lost in his car's class, at the shows.
I love old cars. Especially those like the one's featured in the OP. However, it's all on a viewer basis. When I think of the money spent on two axles, and what I could do for my local community with the same cash, it's no contest.
I do love to look though. Beautiful works of art.

I used to show a 1964 Mini Cooper. It won its class at the World of Wheels many years ago. I sold that little rollerskate and have been slowly building up a 91 Grand Marquis to look like the Crown Vic in Men In Black. It now has a Mustang motor and is awaiting paint. I may soon buy a '92 Supra which would receive a Ford 302 to replace its toasted 3.0.

Wow! You lucky bastard!
In 1969, I ONCE drove a mate's 1968 Mini Cooper S for 20 miles. I have never forgotten the thrill and pure terror of hitting the top of that hill at 120mph.
