That's what I tried to explain, but it doesn't matter. It's been declared preaching and that is what counts.

I was unaware you tried to explain anything. I simply gave you a link to the rules. Hopefully, you read them.

Lucent, it would also help if you put the verses in quotes and what is your response as regular text. I think what happened here is that it all got interpreted as a sermon instead of an actual response. If you go to the full editor for response, you can mark the text that is the verse, and click on the quote button.

It does take a bit of nous AND reading the RULES area to post here on this site.... it isn't set up as sloppily as say the other xtian sites are. People (read theists) are just so eager to 'Save souls for jeebus" that they haven't got a clue and ergo end up looking stupid.

What you wrote is good Lucent and I can see the point you're making.
But the answers aren't in a book written thousands of years ago by a bunch of unwashed goatherders.

How very "Greek" of you. Maybe it will slowly start to sink in where your horseshit came from!

Why on earth the faithful would not want to educate themselves on the pedigree of their faith and claim that heritage is beyond me. They stick to the idiotic shit and ignore the fact that their faith is part of the larger and much more interesting business of our changing views of our origins, purpose, and morality. We've all moved beyond the ideas put forth in the bible, even fundy christians can't claim to hold the same beliefs as early christians, and that much should be obvious. The best explanation I've ever heard for faith came from a catholic priest, who as far as I could tell, didn't actually believe in god. These myths do not have to be factually accurate for there to be value stowed away within Lucent. In all honesty, holding so tightly onto a literal and factual interpretation is probably the single-most destructive thing you can do to any wisdom that might otherwise be gleaned from the narrative.
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!

No. Min asked him why he didn't post it. He didn't answer the question. He just went right on with his bible mastur *ahem* interpretation. Furthermore, I already told him that his first round of it was preaching. Instead of reading the rules and replying to Min's question, he just continued with it where Min told him he had left off. He seems to be doing fine now and I encourage him to hang around and wish him the best of luck. However, I am not apologizing for mentioning the rules. Sorry, Frods. I like you, but I'm not your puppet.

That's terribly scary to them.
Want to have some fun? Point out that a Greek by the name of Pittacus is the earliest known proponent of The Golden Rule. Some 600 years before the alleged jesus.
That always works them up into a fucking lather.
