'Seeking' God
RE: 'Seeking' God
By "African Apes" do you mean the ones that inhabiting in African?

Are you being sarcastic? Common descent or Common Ancestor is better word to describe the evolution origin of human beings and primate species.

I agree that this tactic is not useful to woo people that see all religion as a trick, but it is not my intention to specifically woo skeptics, it's my intention to speak to people who are seeking openly or in secret. If they want to experience Jesus Christ they can.

Fair enough.

If there were such a person he's been dead for 2,000 years. All that anyone can experience now are their own delusions or import delusions from other followers.

We ARE African apes, we just don't all live in Africa anymore. We are the African apes with imaginary friends.

@ Shel, whilst we are not descended from modern apes the common ancestor we all share would have been classified as an ape if alive today. That is what I meant Smile

Import delusions, then they have delusions, which may move on to others, repeat cycle over 2000ish years and what to you have?

Chinese delusions.

Actually, it was like a lemur.
You make people miserable and there's nothing they can do about it, just like god.

Lemurs you say? Explains much.
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!

The remote common ancestor - a concept totally lost on crocoduck-seeking creationist shitheads - may have been from Asia.

Quote:So the flood and the punishment for Lot's wife are two of the many reasons you...

1. don't believe in God
2. think..IF God was real he'd be terrible

Sorry I have only just noticed your reply.
It's number 2 for me.

But i do not believe in 'god' because i see no reason to. If i did, i'd be a diest not any denomination of theist. The universe is so large and we are on the outer rims of an obscure galaxy, what reason is there to think we are special? Definately not because we exist, the likelyhood of a planet being inhabitable is about 1 in billion. Being that there are around 100 billion galaxies each with approximately 100 billion stars in each, the odds of life on other stars is quite large. With this in mind and the complexity of the universe and life, why would a god watch us with indifference for 250000 years than make a blood sacrifice and condemn all innocent babies to sin? He must have gone from genius to retard very quickly. It's just totally unbelievable in my mind to believe any religion especially as some of the stories are just such utter bullshit, like the virgin birth, water into wine, Buraq carrying Muhammed to the heavens. All of it is nonsense designed to snare simple people in the bronze age and medievel times.
