You said 50 perks, which isn't true.

Right now I'm not so sure...

On that note, anyone got any good perk suggestions? I play as a thief/assassin so need short range, light armour, etc.
You get 80/300 I think, though at level 43 It already takes two hours to level up...

I just bought it and will be playing it later tonight. So you guys have been playing for a while, any tips, not spoilers, but things like where in oblivion the levelling system was messed up and if u wanted to do it effectively (not quickly) and play hard mode u had to do it one particular way, things like that. don't wanna waste time on a char I like but have to restart =D

Nice.
As for tips, I think the game is really balanced. You get XP for doing anything, even something simple like selling / buying stuff. I love that armour and weapons can't get damaged anymore; it's another thing I don't have to worry about (or spend money on).

Yeah same here, always used to bug me in the fallout games. It's a pretty interesting concept, but when it's there it become little more than a chore.

The leveling up system is anxiety proof. Level up however you want to. The only thing that one needs to worry about is where you want your perks to go because those are limited and you want to max out the skills you care about the most first. If you're are interested in archery perks, you don't want to be using magic all the time. I haven't used anything but a bow so far.

Please give me a home where cloud buffalo roam
Where the dear and the strangers can play
Where sometimes is heard a discouraging word
But the skies are not stormy all day
