Just something I think we've all noticed. I don't think change is necessarily a bad thing at all
But we all know these people, who complain after every little update, every little change that happens in their lives.
When facebook updates, just about every single person on facebook, has to make a status complaining about how the change is terrible and how they hate it.
I personally like to stick with, "if it ain't broke, don't fix it".
What I mean by this is, I'll use my brother as an example.
One day my brother decides to mess with our Internet options. Our internet is working fine, running smooth and fast, couldn't complain about a thing. Well my brother, who is no computer or tech wizz, decides to change a few setting to see if our internet could go faster. Lo and behold, he fucks it up!
Another instance would be, my spoiled rotten little pre-teen cousins, who love ruining all their shit. My cousin took his Xbox 360 and painted it.. Didn't take it apart, just submerged it in spray paint. His mom called me up one day saying his Xbox wasn't working asking me to fix it, because lo and behold, I am my family's "tech support"...
So I go over, and find his Xbox, covered in paint.. I asked him who did that and why.. His response? He didn't like the white cover and wanted a different color.
So that's what I mean behind the phrase, don't fix what ain't broke..
Updating and improving something isn't the same thing as fixing something that ain't broke.
Change is not always a bad thing. I'm starting to think we are afraid of change because we love being complacent.
We are some lazy sons a bitches! We hate changing and learning! As we, I mean most of the human species, not all of us are this way thankfully
Anyway, we hate being "bothered" to find out how the new facebook layout works, or hate the new work schedule, or anything.
NEW FACEBOOK LAYOUT... AWWW SHIT GOD DAMMIT, NOW I GOTTA LEARN HOW TO POKE ALL MY FRIENDS OVER AGAIN.
There's more than why we hate change than that, but I think this is a large reason why we hate it and call it a bad thing. We are just to complacent and lazy, we like the same old, same old, which gets boring, and old.. really quick. :/
