Change is Bad!

Change is Bad!
Just something I think we've all noticed. I don't think change is necessarily a bad thing at all Smile

But we all know these people, who complain after every little update, every little change that happens in their lives.

When facebook updates, just about every single person on facebook, has to make a status complaining about how the change is terrible and how they hate it.

I personally like to stick with, "if it ain't broke, don't fix it".
What I mean by this is, I'll use my brother as an example.

One day my brother decides to mess with our Internet options. Our internet is working fine, running smooth and fast, couldn't complain about a thing. Well my brother, who is no computer or tech wizz, decides to change a few setting to see if our internet could go faster. Lo and behold, he fucks it up! Mad

Another instance would be, my spoiled rotten little pre-teen cousins, who love ruining all their shit. My cousin took his Xbox 360 and painted it.. Didn't take it apart, just submerged it in spray paint. His mom called me up one day saying his Xbox wasn't working asking me to fix it, because lo and behold, I am my family's "tech support"... Geek

So I go over, and find his Xbox, covered in paint.. I asked him who did that and why.. His response? He didn't like the white cover and wanted a different color. Arrgghh

So that's what I mean behind the phrase, don't fix what ain't broke..

Updating and improving something isn't the same thing as fixing something that ain't broke.

Change is not always a bad thing. I'm starting to think we are afraid of change because we love being complacent.

We are some lazy sons a bitches! We hate changing and learning! As we, I mean most of the human species, not all of us are this way thankfully Smile

Anyway, we hate being "bothered" to find out how the new facebook layout works, or hate the new work schedule, or anything.

NEW FACEBOOK LAYOUT... AWWW SHIT GOD DAMMIT, NOW I GOTTA LEARN HOW TO POKE ALL MY FRIENDS OVER AGAIN.

There's more than why we hate change than that, but I think this is a large reason why we hate it and call it a bad thing. We are just to complacent and lazy, we like the same old, same old, which gets boring, and old.. really quick. :/

Well, you cannot change everything.
Or change something to prevent other things from changing.

I think facebook is a bad example, since it pretty much sucks anyway no matter how you change it. Never understood the attraction to posting mindless gab.
'The difference between a Miracle and a Fact is exactly the difference between a mermaid and seal. It could not be expressed better.'
-- Samuel "Mark Twain" Clemens

"I think that in the discussion of natural problems we ought to begin not with the scriptures, but with experiments, demonstrations, and observations".

- Galileo Galilei (1564-1642)

"In short, Meyer has shown that his first disastrous book was not a fluke: he is capable of going into any field in which he has no training or research experience and botching it just as badly as he did molecular biology. As I've written before, if you are a complete amateur and don't understand a subject, don't demonstrate the Dunning-Kruger effect by writing a book about it and proving your ignorance to everyone else! Was just using an example that is very relevant to me.

I'm in college, and it seems EVERYONE is connected with Facebook, and Twitter, and iPhones.

I do have a Facebook, and an iPhone, but I'm not connected to social media 24 hours a day. I use my Facebook for school friends and family that lives out of state to keep in contact, way easier than email, and I have an iPhone because my last phone died and iPhone 3gs was $99 so I went for a change Big Grin and I really love my iPhone. You'd be surprised tho, I don't even have enough apps to fill a second screen ha.

I was just trying to say, that when the Facebook layout changed, it was the talk of the town at my college., everyone had to put their input saying how the change was horrible it was. Even with the ios5 update, everyone was saying how it was horrible and they hate it and complaining about all the issues with it.

Seriously, these people need to just fall off the face of the earth.. If only that was possible.

Something with 800 million active users can't suck.

It's not the website that sucks at all. I think the website is an amazing thing.

It's the people who use it.. Computer

Hey... facebook changes have only gotten worse and worse with each redesign.

Change? Oh, I usually love it. But facebook has this mystical way of making the most disgusting webpage designs in the fucking world.

Seriously... if everyone else didn't use it: I wouldn't either.

I think it's gotten worse, but nothing so horrible that I can't stand to use it.
The only reason I use it because of the convenience over email and other social sites.

I like the site itself, it's just the god Tongue damned morons who use it to tell their life story.
