RE: De-Motivational
Dude..wtf.....that is the PR shot to end all PR shots. He's (relatively) fit, balding, wearing religious paraphenelia, holding a rifle, semi nude....we need to get our shit together.
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!

Soviet leaders are often full of surprises. Here's Joseph Stalin in his twenties:

At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist.  This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair.  Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second.  That means there's a situation vacant.'

I always admired the Russian sense of humor.....

Quote:Back during the days of the Soviet Union, it took 10 years to get a car after you paid for one.

Once, a young guy went to the car dealership to order a car. He paid the money, and the asked when can he come and get the car.

"It will be here, waiting for you, exactly 10 years from today".

The man signed the papers, started waliking away and then stooped, turned and asked the salesman: "Wait, will it be ready at the morning or at the afternnon".

"What difference does it make?", asked the salesman.

"Well", answered the man, "the plumber is coming in the morning".

I remember one by Gorbachev, when he was interviewed on some BBC talk show after he'd left office. As I remember, it went something like this:

A man went to the bakery to buy bread, but when he got there he saw that the queue was easily a block long. He got into line and waited, and waited, and waited. After about two hours he saw to his annoyance that the line had hardly moved.

Frustrated, he turned to the guy behind him and said "I've had enough of this! I'm going to go home, get a knife, then go to the Kremiln and kill Gorbachev!" To which the other man replied, "I've just come from there; the queue for that's twice as long as this one!"

sorry, but I'm obviously missing the joke ...

Can someone please tell me what, "I CAN HAS YOUR SOUL?" actually means?

It's either completely going over my head or I'm just not as humor conscious as I thought. Undecided

I've only learned about these things recently, but it's a variation on the 'I can has cheezburger?" meme. Like this one
