Yeah the only place you can smoke indoors in Michigan is at the casinos ... loop hole because of indian reservations. Other than that it was banned in any public building last May.

At any rate, it's probably helped me smoke at least a little less.

Best of luck with quitting. I've never smoked but all four of my grandparents died from smoking... and both of my parents and my brother smoked growing up so all of that made me never smoke. Ironically, I worked for Philip Morris for 2 years so I was given 2 free cartons of Marlboro's each month.. LOL, my friends loved me! I had many ex BF's that smoked and my hubs smoked and finally kicked the habit... it was very hard for him. He still chews a LOT of gum!!! My best friend and her hubs smokes so I full support people's choice to smoke.. we are all adults.

I hope your quitting goes well... I know it can be hard but you seem like a very strong and determined person so just put 100% into it! You will save a shit loada money (ok and some lung capacity and all that too)!

I caution my friends about using physically addicting substances. It is bad enough to develop dependencies on things, one worsens a scenario by making their body require such.
