Hello Egor, you look like a nice new chew toy Cool Shades

I see you've been throwing around your christian love and tolerance like nobodies businessTongue

Oh, we've been having fun! Big Grin

Lucent has returned from the condemned twice as batshit as before, we have Egor, that hates atheism, and last night's star, Sitnuc, the latter tough, didn't last long.

I don't believe in hell. No reason to. Besides, what if it's you who goes to hell and not me?

Quote:I wouldn't know. You're not trying to say you're a good person are you?
I think I am. I don't know of any wrong that I've done. Helped people when I can. In fact I would love to see this 'god' of yours list all the really bad stuff I've done. Don't need god to be good.

Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence - Carl Sagan

Mankind's intelligence walks hand in hand with it's stupidity.

Being an atheist says nothing about your overall intelligence, it just means you don't believe in god. Atheists can be as bright as any scientist and as stupid as any creationist.

You never really know just how stupid someone is, until you've argued with them.

Taken from your blog.....

Quote:When you think about it, this is not just speculation: If the physical universe had a beginning, and we know it did, and if it's intelligently designed, and we know it is, then a non-physical, conscious, and willful mind pre-existed the universe.

How do you know that the universe is the product of intelligent design?

He knows because it whispered in his ear, "Psst, the burning bush is so passe: Hear the whisper of the organized universe, for I am your lord."

And he did harken himself to that calling, and he set to making himself full of the holy piss and indeed of the holy vinegar, too, that he might please his cosmic master and become more fully atomized into its churning and vengeful body.

I notice no one complains about Islam, Hinduism or Buddhism, and no one complains much about cults, just Christianity.

I also wonder why there are rules in this forum against saying you are going to hell for your beliefs, and yet it seems you post continually about the injustice of Hell, or the fact that God is responsible for evil. Again, what do you care? If there is no God, why do you get so hot under the collar about it? No pun intended.

And if, to you, the evil in the world proves there is no God, how do you explain all the good? Thinking

Just some questions; just trying to keep it real.
1. Because Christianity is the most common religion in the world, so it is the one that influences people's lives the most, so it is the best one to deal with.

2. Telling someone they'll go to hell for their belief judgmental, a personal attack, and just plain immature. In fact, it borders on being a threat. Either way, it is just bad conduct. Why get mad at religion? Because it f***s with our lives, that's why.

3. The evil in the world doesn't prove there is no God, but it sure pokes holes in Christian and other religious doctrine.
"Sisters, you know only the north; I have traveled in the south lands. There are churches there, believe me, that cut their children too, as the people of Bolvangar did--not in the same way, but just as horribly. They cut their sexual organs, yes, both boys and girls; they cut them with knives so that they shan't feel. That is what the Church does, and every church is the same: control, destroy, obliterate every good feeling. So if a war comes, and the Church is on one side of it, we must be on the other, no matter what strange allies we find ourselves bound to."

He's your god. They're your rules. You go to Hell.

Because there seems to be an order in it resulting from underlying physical laws that operate consistently.

So, you’re opposed to Christianity. What harm have you ever experienced as a result of the existence of Christianity in this world?

You’ve got a point there: One does not go to hell for simply not knowing about Christ. One goes to hell for knowing about Christ and then rejecting Him.
