In and of themselves, nothing. Atheists don't 'offer' anything. They just don't believe in God. However, a huge percentage of the scientific community that has made and is still making those advances you mention are atheists. Coincidence? Possibly.

And who are you to say that we couldn't have done any better? Maybe we could have. If Galileo's revelation about the solar system had been accepted straight away instead of opposed by the church, who knows how much more could have been achieved? What do we have to offer? Not much, atheism isn't a worldview, but in contrast with religious beliefs, at least we are not poisoning our brains with delusion.

Atheism will eventually destroy any society in which it is allowed to reach a critical mass, if you will. I don’t know what percentage that would be, nor do I know how long it would take to, say, destroy English society. But it would. Once a society bases its laws on atheism, then only the powerful rule because they are powerful and that becomes dog-eat-dog. There is no stability, there is nothing but civil unrest.

And what do you base that assumption on? Secular societies are in fact doing very well, better than many religious ones in fact. Secular societies happen to be more tolerant and civil than most or all other religious ones. What evidence do you have to suggest that a secular society can't function despite that fact that they do right now.

You don't need belief in god to be good, happy, civil or advanced. It's just you can't accept that.

Christians burnt fucking hundreds of scientific minds at the stakes! Or did you forget that little piece of history? Spanish inquisition? Surely you are aware of these events? You lot held us back. You burnt the intelligent. The only reason we can advance so quickly now is because you can't touch us anymore.

Frankly we do want people to know Christ loves them and has a plan of redemption and would we not be negligent and uncaring if we are right. The bold if is for you guys.

I know where you're getting at. You're trying to save people, you think you're right and so you try to help others 'see' the path. I understand. But now I'm going to try and help you understand another side.
Say I'm in a town of 10,000 people. They all have personal beliefs that differ from each other, they all think I need saving. Now all these people think they're doing the right and good thing by trying to 'save me' but all they're doing is pestering me and trying to change my life to how they see fit. Because all it is really, is people with all these beliefs and differing gods all trying to sway me over to their faith. So you can understand that I'm going to be bothered by this. Theists must learn that they could be wrong and that it's just a personal belief with no evidence to back it up. You think you're doing the right thing but all you're doing is pushing me around, pressuring me and it must stop. How can one live a life if he/she is constantly being pestered and told that they need 'saving'? I don't need saving, I'm fine the way I am, and if there is a god, he'd understand. You know...infinite wisdom.
So trust me, I'm fine. I've heard what you and others have to say and I have kindly rejected it, I've become more aggressive because some just can't take no for an answer. I must use my own judgement and to not rely on others. Because you could be completely wrong. In all likely hood, you are.

The Christian church also destroyed much of the learning and knowledge from the Greco-Roman world because it didn't fit in with Christian teaching.

It wasn't till the Renaissance that many classical texts were redicovered from the East.

For virtually a millennium scientific progress went nowhere and Christianity is largely responsible for that.
