RE: Newt
I just still can't believe Newt will win... but everyday, the polls show it will be him. What a disaster.

Here's an interesting video... (I didn't source check anything but sounds accurate):

RE: Newt
He's "image of god," meng. People don't think about god when they get fundie about stuff, they think about themselves being god. Same thing here. This "80% Christian" populous wants to project their own narrow-minded, elitist bigotry into the "image of POTUS" and Newt's just the kind of soulless minion to play that role.

Quote:WASHINGTON (AP) - The tax plan by GOP presidential hopeful Newt Gingrich would provide big tax breaks to the rich and blow a huge hole in the federal budget deficit, according to an independent study released Monday.

The analysis by the Tax Policy Center says households making more than $1 million a year would see their taxes drop by an average of 62 percent. Overall, federal tax revenues would drop by an estimated $850 billion in 2015, a figure that would dramatically worsen the budget deficit unless it is offset by unprecedented spending cuts, the study said.

"The revenue losses are enormous," said Roberton Williams, a senior fellow at the Tax Policy Center.

They needed a "study" to figure this out?

If Newt became president I would see about getting one of those jobs mining rocks on the moon.

Wow, that is insane. And Republicans always scream about LOWERING the deficit yet they will elect someone that wants to raise it? Interesting stuff. 99% of my facebook friends are Republicans (yes and Christians) so I've been posting things like this on my page. Maybe I can sway one person... ah probably not. Yet, what Republican would vote for Obama? I think they'd pick the devil over Obama. Sad

Newt says child labor is great, and that child labor laws are stupid. Schools should get rid of union janitors and instead have one "master" janitor and child laborers under him.

"It is tragic what we do in the poorest neighborhoods, entraping children in, first of all, child laws, which are truly stupid." - Newt

I'd like to ask Statler why a known liar and adulterer could be trusted over more honest candidates?
