RE: YOU!
Or by my definition - without evidence. And hence, irrational.

And besides, without reason is irrational too! - So once again IRrational Faith Tongue

RE: YOU!
Reason works better than evidence as evidence is far too strict.

Don't think it's reasonible to believe in something without any kind of evidence. It's just simply irrational.

RE: YOU!
Again, this depends upon the sort of evidence you have.

RE: YOU!
Lol...

Evidence=rational reason to believe something exists.

To believe without a rational reason in the existence of something is then IOW to believe without evidence - that's irrational.
So "faith" BEING belief without evidence is irrational. So the term 'rational faith', WHEN faith is defined as 'belief without evidence' - is an oxymoron.

RE: YOU!
With that definition of the word then you are correct with your assurtion that Rational Faith is an oxymoron so long as you define Faith as belief without evidence, so long as you define evidence as a rational reason to believe something to be true.

All you need to do now is to define rational.

RE: YOU!
Evidence is IOW indication that a belief is true. And that I would define as a rational reason to believe. THAT's rational.

To just believe anyway WITHOUT evidence, to believe 'on faith' - is therefore IRrational because it means there's no indication that such a belief is true.
