So I Got My New Computer Today

The two are Flash Video Downloader Youtube Downloader 3.6.2 and JetMP3 1.0

Even more amazing, Adrian, is the highly specific way that it interfered with the board. It would let me read, type in a subject line, but it would not show the text of an actual message nor edit the message. That last might be the key. When I tried to edit instead of the little box that says "quick edit" or "full edit" there would be the same "Edit this message" box but as soon as I moved my mouse to it, it vanished.

Still....as incomprehensible as that all is it is still more comprehensible than 'god.'

BTW, I am using Firefox 12.0 according to the "About Window."

I use Easy Youtube downloader and never had a problem with it. I'm not familiar with either of those plugins.

When I finish moving stuff from one to the other I will go back and re-enable them and see if I can re-create the problem.

I got up this morning to 14 Win 7 updates and a FireFox update so everything may have changed.

I haven't checked out all the firefox Youtube plugins, but Chrome has some very nice ones. It's a shame the browser is total shit.

I use Myxa to grab streaming media & it works well, in case you were looking for a replacement.

Do they allow posts long enough to explain it all? I'm with Apophenia. Let's start with the fact that they started out with pure bland, then stripped everything out of it. For anything other than APK Downloader, I don't run Chrome at all. (I'd uninstall it if APK Downloader were ported to FF.) Firefox for browsing and development, IE to make sure that my perfectly good code isn't screwed up by Microshaft.
