Huh? I most certainly can. The way your website looks is a direct reflection of your skills as a designer/producer/artist. If your website looks amateur, then it is very difficult to envision success.

I'm sorry your stuff isn't being well received, that can't be easy. But this forum doesn't hold punches. I like it that way.

I did, at least as much as I could stomach. I will not watch your Indiegogo.

Your actions on AF speak volumes about your motive.

Your threads: What do your children like?, What do you think of these shows?, Favorite Fantasy books and writers?, What do you think about Clowns?, Ask Me About what my Franchise is About and View my Website. (there may be more). All about you.

Your posts outside your threads: one (at least that I can find), Explain your user name. If I missed some let me know, only if it is not about you. It's been all about you, self serving and self promoting. You didn't even make an effort to post in other threads.

To put it mildly I find your behavior offensive. Please go away, GO AWAY, GO AWAY, GO AWAY!!

This is a horrible excuse for poor character design. "Eh, it's just for kids, who cares?" Aside from this being insulting to your target audience, it will also prove detrimental to your success. Do you not have kids? Do you not know how uncensored their criticism can be? I wonder if a kid will look beyond the shoddy presentation to see what substance may lie beneath...wait, no I don't.
I can't remember where this verse is from, I think it got removed from canon:

Alright, I see you took some criticism to heart and changed the website a tad, so I watched a few videos.

I gotta be honest, I found them bizarre and nightmarish. I realize that it isn't easy to do 3D animations, and to a certain degree you have achieved something here, which you should be very proud of, BUT you should know that this is not what anyone would call a finished product. You're probably having a blast making these things, but you're not going to find many people willing to pay money for what amounts to Pixar story boards.

The voice work sounds very much like an automation. An automation that's being made to read aloud in class.

You seem to be serious about this and I think that's your saving grace, as you'll be less likely to give up. My advice to you would be to look at what you've made so far, not as a finished product, but as rough drafts and works in progress. You have a computer, do some How-to googling: Voice overs, story boarding, story telling. Find out what other people are doing that makes them successful and do a few mimics. Lets get that cart behind the horse.

The animation is just not good. 3d animation is at a level now where we have come to expect flawless scenery and properly vectored characters. I'm sorry, but you might want to consider 2D.

Yes, I did change the website "design theme" based on your critique here. I feel more content with this design to be honest. And actually, most of the videos you watched ARE just storyboards and rough drafts which I intended to be almost flawless. One reason I didn't work as hard on them as I would certainly if I was releasing a movie to DVD for instance, is because working in 3D animation is often a lot of hard work for me. I don't if you can consider that a "blast" but it is a "thrill" to work with before I'm working with complicated things to do.

I'm working on two movies, one is still in its scripting stage. And the videos are to give you just a hint of how the characters and designs will be in the finished films which will come much later actually.

But I am not changing the design of the character again. I am certain you would say the same things about the other two designs I used which were a hundred percent different from this one. I am quite content with what I have now. Also, I am not changing the voice of the Wogglebug character. I don't care what anyone says. His voice actor gives him his living essence and I want him voicing the character as long as he lives.

And I'm not gonna do 2D animation as I cannot draw.

RE: View my Website.
I watched the "Wogglebug's Adventure in New York" movie trailer. I'm not sure it works as a trailer because it seems to have most aspects of the movie in it, and doesn't really leave much to the film. Ignoring that, here are some issues I found with it:

1) The animation is poor. Not only are the backgrounds of the scenes all pretty much static, most of the characters are too. Other than the dance scene, the characters all seem to be stuck in one pose, and the only thing that moves is their mouths, and occasionally their heads. The dance scene itself is actually worse though, as the Wogglebug's pants often render through his coat when he turns, and at one point he walks *through* the microphone. That's just really bad and I'm surprised it wasn't fixed in editing. At another point, the Wogglebug is crouching (hiding from the police) and his socks come through his knees.

2) The voice acting is terrible. The Wogglebug's voice is weird, but if that's what you are going for, fine. The other voices, especially the children's voices were quiet and I found them to be distinctly monotone, rather than displaying any kind of emotion. The song that the Wogglebug sings has a horrible repetitive part that just sounds like you've copied the audio and pasted it multiple times in a row, rather than doing it naturally.

3) The story is not really designed for kids. I mean, correct me if I'm wrong, but the story seems to be that the Wogglebug arrives on Earth, in New York, scares some people (a heart attack is mentioned, which isn't really family friendly), makes friends with a couple of young kids, and the police then arrest him for being around the kids. It's just...creepy. Fine, the police release him at the end because he was sad in jail, but it seems to me that a show aimed at children, presumably around the age of 5-7, should not really have undertones of pedophilia.

Oh, and I know you said you can't do 2D animations, but in all honesty, I think that your 2D version of the Wogglebug (http://www.wogglebugloveproductions.net/...2_orig.jpg) is leaps and bounds better than the 3D rendering. It looks far friendlier and much less creepy.

I haven't even watched the preview Tibs mentioned and I got a very strong pedophile sense from the character. That's why I think you should redesign him. Three times is not a lot or unusual.

I saw him singing a song to a little girl in her bedroom. It would be much less disturbing if he didn't have the size and proportions of an adult male. And that's just getting you out of pedo territory, he still has to be fun to look at.

I haven't watched everything you've made this far, but another thing that was too static was your camera. Get some natural movement in that thing. Doing that with what you have now would already elevate the visual interest.
