It's interesting about the health side of things. But I agree, why can't you also have privacy, if it were to be introduced to the West? I suppose in some cultures people don't care about it so much, which is cool.

DSM-5 considers it a dysphoria, not disorder.

We are to be compassionate to one another for the trials we are in. I have schizophrenia and bipolar and to be honest, prefer that, over being confused over my gender. It's one of the worse things I can imagine going through.

Liberal theists think they are kind, and as well intended as they may be, there still is nothing in their holy book that explains in any real sense why humans have their biological differences. I love the empathy of my fellow humans, but when it comes to explaining reality, a holy book still is not a study or a lab, it is a personal like.
